Mouth Puppet

I’ve used a mouth puppet for years and finally, as a result of many people wanting one, I’ve sourced some to sell!    I find my mouth puppet really draws kids in to thinking about oral placement and being 3D, is far better than any illustration of placement.  Be warned, they are pretty gross – but somehow that appeals to kids!  More details below…

Product Description

Yes, they are disgusting, but kids love them. This mouth puppet has a moveable tongue that is very squishy and can be pulled, spread, cupped and so on.  Perfect for demonstrating phonetic placement, great for teaching eating skills (chewing, placement of bolus).  Even tricky sounds such as /r/ can be discussed and demonstrated using the Mouth Puppet. It’s a great adjunct to speech therapy and to sound work for literacy!
